I find 3000 calories in one sitting is VERY hard work. Easy hack for high keto calories on a budget: Drown everything in olive oil/butter. 200ml/g of oil a day is about half your required calories. Very easy to find those e.g.: Green salad with 100ml olive oil. Scrambled eggs w/50g butter.

If you eat more calories than you burn, you gain weight. And if you eat fewer calories and burn more calories through physical activity, you lose weight. In the past, research found about 3,500 calories of energy equaled about 1 pound (0.45 kilogram) of fat. So researchers thought burning or cutting 500 calories a day led to losing 1 pound a week.

If your daily maintenance calories are 2500, then 3000 calories per day might help you gain 1 lb per week. On average, you will gain approximately 1 lb of mass for every additional 3000 calories you consume over your maintenance. If your daily maintenance calories are below 2500, consuming 3000 calories per day will lead to faster weight gain
So, and especially if you are struggling to gain muscle or weight, you may need to eat more than the recommended 2,000 to 2,500 calories a day. How much more depends on your calorie needs, which you can estimate using this calculator. However, for a lot of lifters, 3,000 calories is a good place to start.
Your heart then works to pump that oxygen to your muscles causing you to burn calories. For every liter of oxygen your lungs take in, you burn 5 calories. So, the more oxygen you take in, the more calories you burn. Therefore, someone who is overweight and out of shape will burn more calories a lot easier than someone who is fit. For me, 3000 is not a terribly high binge. It usually means that I have started to binge and was able to stop it. My bad binge days are usually between 4500-6000 calories. I know the feelings surrounding the food and the sense of losing control followed by intense shame happens post binge. I would consider 3000 calories kind of a victory
3000 calories seems like a lot for a lightly active petite female. Generally the people I have heard of who eat raw (females) claim to be eating a huge amount of calories in smoothies. Litres and litres of smoothies through the day, but not be putting on weight.
